" ANJIN Gion Shirakawa" is a whole-house rental located along the Shirakawa River in Kyoto’s Gion district.
Historical and cultural sites such as Chion-in Temple, Yasaka Shrine, Maruyama Park, and Seiryo-in Monzeki are all within walking distance, making it an ideal base for sightseeing.
The interior, renovated from a Kyoto machiya over 115 years old, features items from brands and artists with ties to Kyoto.
The spacious earthen-floored area, the hideaway-like mini-kitchen, and the tatami-mat living room inspired by a “kawadoko” (river-side dining) setting are unique to this inn.
Please enjoy a private moment while listening to the gentle murmur of the Shirakawa River.
